Attorney Client Relations

Our firm has the highest AV® Rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating system. The relationship between you and your attorney requires complete trust and confidence. Thus, our firm takes measures to insure that your work is performed in complete confidence. We will keep you informed of the progress of your case on a regular basis and, where appropriate, will send you copies of documents prepared on your behalf. If questions arise, you are invited to contact us for information.

Firm policy is to respond to your phone calls as soon as possible. When meeting in our offices, our clients are given our complete attention. If an attorney is in conference, telephone calls are withheld with few exceptions. This assures that you, as our client, have the attorney’s undivided attention.

Fees

In most cases, our fees are based upon the time and complexity of the matter involved. Some work is done on an hourly basis. For other matters, a flat fee is appropriate. Certain cases, such as personal injury litigation, are handled on a contingent fee basis whereby the fee for legal services is a percentage of the amount of money obtained for you.

Our office policy requires our attorneys to discuss the fee arrangement with you during your first conference at our law firm. For some matters, we will be able to give you a fairly close estimate on the fee. In others, we will tell you how the fee will be determined. For lengthy matters, the fee is payable upon completion of the work.
